On May 15th, 2016, seven members of Outreach gathered in Devens, MA, to participate in the MuckFest Mud Run. MuckFest raises money for multiple sclerosis, a disabling disease of the central nervous system. With fundraising through bake sales and sponsors who donated for us to run the course, Outreach raised over $525 for MS research! In recognition of the horrific effects that MS has on its 2.3 million victims and their loved ones, Outreach was glad to contribute to one step in the process of finding a cure. Despite the brisk weather and the inevitable dirt we faced, we had a great time! See photos below for an idea of the obstacles (and mud) we encountered. Also, find out more about MuckFest MS and their purpose here.
