OUTREACH
Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School
Weekly Meetings on Wednesdays in room 113.
Outreach is a student-run club at Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School that gives students a simple way to find opportunities to pursue their interests, learn about careers, world issues, and their community. The club serves as one central group that branches off into four categories: Sustainability, Health, Education, and Global Awareness.
Outreach was founded on the belief that HWRHS students have the capacity and motivation to improve their community, and only need the tools to do so. Our aim in this club is to give students a better understanding of the simple things they can be doing to improve their school, town, and world. We want to make these opportunities more prevalent among the school community, and are confident that Outreach will gain success due to the philosophy it embodies of encouraging young students to make a difference.
Outreach meets weekly to learn from student leaders, faculty leaders, and experts. The members of each branch also participate in fundraisers and out-of-school activities at least once per quarter.
We have a team of several different highly knowlegable and motivated student leaders. These leaders are seperated into overall branch leaders and project leaders. Branch leaders are in charge of organizing activities and meetings for the branches, whereas project leaders focus on and lead projects on specific issues within a branch.
